IntroductionMalaysia My Second Home (MM2H) is a programme promoted by the Government of Malaysia to allow people from all over the world who fulfil certain criteria, to stay in Malaysia on a social visit pass with a multiple entry visa. The Social Visit Pass is valid for a period of ten (10) years, depending on the validity of the applicants' passport, and is renewable.There are many unique points about Malaysia that make it attractive for older people, particularly from Europe and Japan, to live where it is cheaper and the weather pleasant. Malaysia has a pleasant balmy weather with moderate rain. The standard of living is high with modern infrastructure and facilities, good medical facilities and international education while the cost of living is low. English, the country's second language, is widely used. Barisan Nasional, the ruling Government, is the longest serving Government in the world. Terms and ConditionsSuccessful applicants are required to comply with the following financial criteria upon receipt of the 'Conditional Approval Letter' from Malaysia Immigration Department.I. Applicants aged below 50 years old
Medical ReportAll applicants and their dependents (spouse and children) are required to submit a medical report from any private hospital / registered clinic in Malaysia.Medical InsuranceSuccessful participants and dependents (spouse and children) must possess a valid medical insurance policy which is applicable in Malaysia.IncentivesI. House PurchaseEach participant is entitled to purchase up to two units of residential homes, each priced at RM150,000 and above. II. Car Purchase Each participant is entitled to bring in his/her own personal car which was purchased by participant before joining the MM2H programme ; OR to purchase a locally-assembled car without the need to pay import duty, excise duty and sales tax. III. Domestic Helper Each participant is allowed to apply for one maid; subject to the prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department of Malaysia. IV. Education Dependent children of participants who are aged under 18 years old and not married and who intend to continue their schooling in Malaysia are required to apply for a Student Pass and should be insured throughout their stay under this programme. ApplicationApplications can be submitted while the applicant is in Malaysia or from overseas.All applicants who wish to apply to stay in Malaysia under MM2H Programme must submit the following documents for themselves and dependents (if accompanied by spouse and children): 1. Letter of Application (Cover Letter)
3. Two (2) passport-sized photographs 4. Certified true copies of all pages of Passport or travel document 5. A certified true copy of Marriage Certificate (if accompanied by spouse) 6. A certified true copy (s) of children's birth certificate (if accompanied by Children) 7. Resume with 10 years of working experience 8. A certified true copy of the latest bank statement and/or other related financial document to indicate the financial capability to support stay in Malaysia 9. A copy of Medical Report 10.
